Kumbh Mela is included in UNESCO cultural heritage list
‘ Kumbh Mela is included in UNESCO ‘ named Kumbh Mela on the list of untouchable cultural heritage of humanity; Committee considered Kumbh Mela as the largest gathering of pilgrims on earth.
UNESCO has been included in the Global Integrative Cultural Heritage List of Kumbh Mela in the largest pilgrimage of Hindus. This information was given by the Indian Ambassador to the Indian Embassy, Vinay Quatra, in the French position. After yoga, attracting the world’s attention towards the famous Kumbh Mela is being seen as the achievement of the country.
Kumbh Mela is held in Allahabad, Ujjain, Haridwar and Nasik. Mahakumbh is organized every 12 years, whereas every six years in Prayag and Haridwar, semi kumbh is organized. In Kumbh Mela, there are lakhs of devotees coming from all over the country.
