NASA will improve the space communication system

NASA scientists are planning to use Artificial Intelligence to better manage the growing communication between space ships and Earth. Now NASA’s space shuttle relies on the human-controlled radio system for communication – communication to the Earth. Researchers say that if artificial intelligence is included in the space communication network, its efficiency can be increased in addition to meeting the demand of communication.

Specific parts of the electromagnetic spectrum are used for communication, but the number of such channels is limited. This can cause interference in the era of increasing communication.

Janet Bryoness, a scientist at NASA’s Glen Research Center, says that complex software is used in modern space communication systems for scientific and investigative missions. If the use of artificial intelligence is done then the spacecraft can control these systems more effectively.
